Fear of what other people think of us paralyzes us. It creates negativity and pessimism in our subconscious mind that blinds us from seeing the goodness and enormous energy that live inside us. Do not fear how other people judge you. Choose a pathway and continue walking without fear of treacherous road ahead.
Most of the time, fear of other people’s judgment arises from a sense of insecurity about yourself. Dive deep inside and find out what it is that created that sense of insecurity within you. Once you found the Source of your insecurity and confront it, the fear of other people’s judgment will disappear and give you the confidence to take the first step toward the unknown.
Without this first step, nothing good will ever happen to your life. You do not need to reach the roof to feel a sense of freedom and accomplishment. Not everything is crisp clear as we take the first step toward whatever we want in our life. But as we take the first step, the fog disappears, and the road becomes visible. Rumi said, “As you take the first step, the way appears.”
If we fear judgment, we never reach that potential that is hiding us. We can not connect with the Universal intelligence to reach happiness and wisdom.
“Start a huge, foolish project, like Noah…it makes absolutely no difference what people think of you.”
When we talk about other people’s judgment, we are not talking about close friends and family nonjudgmental constructive criticism and advice. We are social creatures, and for thousands of years, we lived a social life to survive. This feedbacks are essential for our existence.
Any time we step away from our comfort zone to walk in uncharted territory, we get bombarded by opinions and feedback from the people we know and those we do not. Optimistic people with constructive criticism take your energy to its highest vibration frequency. On the other hand, the pessimist creates the low-frequency vibration that prevents you from reaching the universal intelligence to accomplish big things in your life. Rumi said, “Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.”
